COMMUNITY engagement

American Foundation for
Suicide Prevention

I participated in the "Out of Darkness Community Walk" organized by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. Among 1400 participants at the event, I was there to support those affected by suicide, helping to bring them out of the darkness.

My involvement in this event serves as an advocacy effort to reassure those facing struggles that they are not alone. I want them to know that I am here, ready to extend a helping hand.

Charles County
Children’s Aid Society

I contributed school supplies to the Charles County Children's Aid Society.

Recognizing the need among children, I donated school supplies to ensure that students in Charles County have the essential tools for uninterrupted learning throughout the school year.

I dedicated my time to volunteer at the American Legion, Post 175 in Severna Park, Maryland, for their Spring Clean Up event aimed at enhancing the beauty of their grounds.

My efforts involve providing the American Legion with enhanced curb appeal that will leave a lasting impression on its visitors. This includes tasks such as pulling weeds, laying mulch, and using a leaf blower.

Volunteering is a source of great satisfaction for me, and it allows me to contribute to the betterment of our community!

Local elementary
school - career day

I participated in a local elementary school Career Day, engaging with children and emphasizing the significance of entrepreneurship. We had an open conversation about my role as a Designer and how the knowledge they acquire today relates to their future.

Interacting with children holds special significance for me, as it provides an opportunity to empower them with the belief that anything is possible through hard work, focus, and believing in theirselves

I participated in making a positive impact by preparing and distributing 75 un-bagged lunches to feed the homeless. I believe in the power of small acts, recognizing that even a single meal can make a difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness.

Supporting the homeless is personal significance for me, as I recognize the issue of people lacking access to food. Contributing my time to make a positive impact is a source of fulfillment, and I am passionate about making a difference through volunteering
